Intorducing Little Lemon Repertory Company
Little Lemon Productions is constantly evolving and expanding and we are so excited to announce our next expansion Little Lemon Repertory!
What is the difference between other programs we offer and repertory?
Our Repertory Program is an audition based acting troupe. These are performers who have auditioned for the program and have shown a high level of skill and professionalism. The Repertory Program is dedicated to creating a professional level experience that acts as a launch pad for our members to comfortably transition into professional environments. The Repertory program aims to follow and adhere to as many Equity Actors Association guidelines as possible and applicable to our space. This helps our members be aware of the rights they have as an actor and be better equipped to avoid unsafe environments at the beginning of their career.
What are the benefits of being a Repertory Member?
Repertory Members are guaranteed a role in all Little Lemon Repertory productions following their acceptance as a member. Once a Repertory production is announced Members are given the opportunity to reach out and request a role in the production.
(Non-members are able to participate in Repertory productions, however, Non-members are not eligible to be cast as principal roles. Non-members are only eligible for ensemble and understudy roles.)
What are the requirements?
Members must attend and pass a digital or in-person audition. In-person auditions will take place prior to the casting of the upcoming production and digital self tapes are accepted year round. Please note, casting may be affected by the time you audition. Members who are previously in the program are given advantage over new members due to their consideration earlier in the process. Although an in-person audition is available, we encourage all those who wish to be considered for a principal role to audition months in advance of the production. Repertory Productions are cast many months in advance.
All members must be 16 or older, we understand that this may be a hard barrier, but it is in the interest of emotional and physical safety of our members.
Members must attend one Theatrical Intimacy Education or TIE seminar, being well educated in Theatrical Intimacy Education is a requirement for the participation of all Members, no exceptions will be made. Failure to attend a TIE Seminar will result in removal from any currently cast productions and may result in a probation period from a following production(s). TIE Seminar dates will be sent to Members in the months leading up to a production so each Member has many opportunities to fulfill this requirement. TIE Seminars will be lead by Adaryn Healy or another TIE supervisor.
